You get the same replacement boiler service if yours is unable to be repaired and it was installed less than 7 years ago and maintenance on this plan includes your boiler, controls and central heating system, and as with Basic and Standard plans, repairs are guaranteed for 12 months.

Things to consider before taking out Npower’s heating care
An important thing to bear in mind with all of these plans is that while Npower will replace your boiler with a new one if yours is beyond repair and so long as it was installed less than 7 years ago, they will not cover any upgrades that are required to your central heating system for the new boiler to work. Those costs will have to be covered by you.

In addition to this, all of the prices mentioned above are introductory prices valid for 12 months only. After which, the cost of your service will increase. At the time of writing, after 12 months the monthly costs increase to £11 per month, £17 per month and £20 per month on the Basic, Standard and Superior central heating care plans respectively.
